They tell me they’re awkward, uncomfortable in photographs, or have absolutely no idea what to do with their hands.
Good news. You don’t need to know.
I’ll guide you through your body position, movement, expression, and angles throughout the entire session.
You won’t be left standing in front of the camera wondering what to do next.
We’ll talk. We’ll move. We’ll laugh. And we’ll create photographs that feel like you, beautifully captured.

Planning support for wardrobe and session direction
Professional posing and expression guidance
A private online viewing gallery
Your choice of 10 professionally edited digital photographs
High resolution digital delivery
Personal printing and sharing rights
Additional edited photographs are available for $55 each.

Here's how it works...
Reserve Your Date Choose your session date and complete the booking process to make it official.
Plan Your Session We’ll discuss who will be photographed, what you want your portraits to feel like, wardrobe, location, and anything meaningful you’d like to capture. You don’t need to arrive with a perfectly planned vision. “I just want photographs I love” is more than enough to get us started.
Create Your Portraits I’ll guide you throughout the entire session while we create a mix of polished portraits, natural moments, genuine connection, and personality.
Choose Your Favourites After your session, you’ll receive a private proofing gallery. You’ll select the 10 photographs included with your experience and have the option to purchase more. Your selected photographs will then be professionally retouched and delivered digitally in high resolution.

Can I bring someone with me?
Absolutely. Your session may include your partner, children, parent, or another meaningful person.
If you’d like to include a larger group, please contact me before booking so we can make sure the session and location are a good fit.
Where will my session take place?
Your session can take place inside the House of Her studio in Innisfail, AB.
We’ll choose the setting that best fits the look and feeling you want to create.
What should I wear?
I’ll help you choose clothing that photographs beautifully and still feels like you.
You don’t need to buy an entirely new wardrobe, unless you’ve been waiting for someone to give you an excuse. In that case, consider this your permission slip.
Can I use these photographs for my business?
The Portrait Experience includes personal usage rights only.
If you need photographs for your website, social media, advertising, or other professional marketing, one of my Branding or Headshot Experiences will be the better fit.

What is the difference between portraits and boudoir?
The Portrait Experience is a one hour session created for individual portraits, couples, motherhood, graduation, and personal milestones.
The House of Her Boudoir Experience is a longer, more immersive experience that includes professional makeup, extended studio time, and access to the complete boudoir image and product collections.

Then you’ll be in very good company.
Most of the people I photograph aren’t models and don’t arrive knowing how to pose. You’ll receive guidance throughout the entire session.
You don’t need to arrive feeling fearless. You just need to arrive.
